What is stress???


BTW: This will be a heavy post. 


What is stress? That's a question that has bothered me the past several weeks now, because I feel stress but I actually don't know what it is. There have been several battles I've faced and am facing and it isn't easy. I think all this IB workload is making me stress. When I look up on google what stress is, it pops up these answers.
  1. pressure or tension exerted on a material object.
  2. a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or very demanding circumstances.
  3. particular emphasis or importance

So it's basically the feeling of pressure from materialistic things. School is materialistic so I am stressed from school. But can you be stressed from your emotions? I feel stressed over my emotions sometimes towards someone, usually a guy for my case. You can easily stress out because of a guy, but are you stressing out because of the pressure of the wanting a relationship you won't get? or are you stressing out on him because you like him that much and he maybe into someone else or even leaving. Would that be considered stress??

I didn't actually feel school stress till about May 2014 that was when we had our IGCSE exams, after almost a year, I'm feeling school stress about IB and the challenges. It's every time consuming and I am not good at time management. I like to be around people so I like to socialize, in IB, you don't have too much social time. Anyways so thats the school stress which is very easy to define.

Can we separate our emotions from stress? or do emotions involve stress? Or are emotions the reason for stress?? These are harsh and probably hard to answer questions. They I think would have to be based on the person. Because I don't think I can separate my emotions from the stress I had. If i did, I wouldn't have stress. That's how I feel with all the stress outside school work.
It's emotionally and mentally exhausting because you are constantly trying to get away from the stress feeling, which then can make you stressed in the process.

See how complicated it is???? I can't even figure it out, and when I try it all gets disordered as you can see.

Anyways that's been on me the past several weeks and I just wanted to share.
God is the only one who can relieve our stress, make us free some stress. So we have to call upon him to help us.
